Promotion-chasing Evo-Stik league South East club Hayes & Yeading United strengthened their squad ahead of the deadline by signing Stuart Bridges and Manny Folarin.
Experienced 32-year-old midfielder Bridges joined Hayes & Yeading having started the current campaign with Evo-Stik League South Premier side Royston Town before departing to sign for Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East outfit Bicester Town on dual registration.
He started out in the youth ranks at Aston Villa where he became an England Youth international before moving to Banbury United where he spent a couple of seasons before switching to play for Didcot Town and then Ardley United.
In 2014 he joined Royston, making in excess of 100 appearances for the Crows, helping them to promotion, and joins United to bolster Paul Hughes’ squad options for the crucial season run-in as United push for promotion.
Twenty-six-year-old defender Folarin joined Hayes & Yeading from Evo-Stik League South Premier side Kings Langley, for whom he had made in excess of 100 appearances.
Started out at Southern Counties East League outfit Holmesdale FC before moving to Bostik League North side Tilbury in 2013.
From the Dockers he moved to Hemel Hempstead Town for a short spell before spending the best part of the next three seasons at Kings Langley where he worked with United boss Paul Hughes.
