Hartley chase Trophy glory

By Jack Moore

Hartley will be hoping to make some more history, after the club won their first ever game in this competition in the last round with a 1-0 victory at Slimbridge.

owever, the side will have to pick themselves up from their worst defeat of the season going down 6-1 to Hayes and Yeading on Tuesday night and will be without new suspended skipper Dean Stow for the trip to Swindon.

Hartley joint manager Daniel Brownlie said: “Our focus is to ensure that we deliver a performance, if we do that we have every chance. We need to improve from our last game and a reaction will be expected on Saturday.

“It’s another great moment for the club and another reminder of how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.

"That said, they’ll be no parade, we won’t remember the moment fondly if we don’t perform. We want to progress and we’ll do everything we can to make that happen.”
