Former Bishop's Cleeve and Shortwood United boss appointed number two at Redditch United

Redditch United Manager, Tim Harris, has strengthened his backroom staff with the additions of Alex Sykes, Reds’ captain Danny Jackman and Lee Randall.

Sykes, a former Hereford United youngster also played for Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers, Nuneaton Borough, Bath City and Gloucester City, boasts a wealth of managerial and coaching experience with Bishops Cleeve and Shortwood United.

“I am delighted Alex has decided to join me at Redditch United, as we look forward to building a team and improving the club," Harris told Redditch's official website.

The new management team will be in the dugout for Redditch’s eagerly-anticipated New Year’s Day clash with Hereford FC.
