Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central club Bedford Town have announced the signings of Matt Harriott and Kye Andrews.
Harriott is an experienced 25-year-old central midfielder who started his career at Luton Town.
He then moved on to Sheffield United for a three-year spell.
He was also offered international honours with Wales (which he turned down) and went to Northampton Town for a season, going on loan to Hayes & Yeading United, then in the Conference South and he also played for Hemel Hempstead and Wealdstone in the same division and, more recently, has been in the USA with Wilmington Hammerheads.
Manager Jon Taylor told the club`s website: "Matty is a great signing for us and he will add experience in the middle of the park. He has the ability to open teams up with his diverse range of passing and regularly gets on the scoresheet. Matty actually mirrors our aspirations in going forward and feels that there is an abundance of ambition for achieving goals in the long-term.
“Matty is an excellent addition to our squad, and although he is not fully match fit, his goal against Peterborough United the other week showed his potential.”
Versatile 24-year-old Kye Andrews has also put pen-to-paper to return for a second spell with the Eagles.
Andrews has been at Luton Town, Kempston Rovers, Olympiakos Nicosia and Arlesey Town as well as the New Eyrie in 2016/17.
