Greens ready for Shortwood

By David Simpson

Injured players return

Kidlington got back to winning ways against Thame on Wednesday in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup, but it took 30 minutes of extra time to do it. Anaclet Odhiambo gave us the lead before Thame leveled in normal time to force the tie into extra time. In the 1st half of extra time Declan Benjamin netted to put The Greens back in front before youngster Harry Whitehead scored a 3rd goal to seal the win. We are the 1st team through to the semi-final stage so will have to wait for the others to play and then the draw.

For the game on Saturday we will have Lewis Gabbidon and James Organ back in contention after both had been missing for a few weeks with injury issues.
