Tom Meechan returns to the Saints on loan

A favourite son the Rebels re-joins from National League North side Hungerford Town and trained with his new team mates Thursday evening and will be available for selection for the forthcoming home games against Slough Town on Saturday and Royston Town on Tuesday.

Striker Meechan plundered 53 goals for Godmanchester Rovers during the 2014-15 season and was duly signed by St Neots Town the following season where he went on to score 21 times during that season before bagging a move into the pro game, earning a contract at Newport County.

During his time at Newport, Meechan was sent out on loan at Weston-Super-Mare and Hungerford Town, joining the latter in a permanent move when he was released by County at the end of the 2016/17 season.
