Gas Boys Become Temporary Larks

Step 4 Work Experience

Evo-Stik League South West club Larkhall Athletic have taken young defender Alfie Clarke and striker James Spruce on `work experience` from SkyBet League One neighbours Bristol Rovers.

Full back Alfie Clarke has agreed a loan move to Larkhall and is joined by James Spruce, who has been recalled from his loan spell at Cinderford.

Clarke signed for the Rovers academy from the successful Ashton Boys side at the age of 13.

Spruce found the net on his senior debut at Cinderford and has spent time with the Welsh under-19 squad this season.

Indeed, he scored for Wales in November in a 3-2 defeat away to Kazakhstan.

Both came off the bench on Wednesday night as Larkhall beat Shortwood United 3-0 at Plaim Ham.
