Fantastic Performance

On Saturday the boys put in a Fantastic performance, and deserved the 3 points without doubt.

You could see Tiverton are a good side and in truth a lot did go against them on Saturday.

Tiverton hit the bar at 0-0 and had a disallowed goal just before HT (would have made it 2-1) so will feel they were big moments, however I can’t take anything away from my boys.

As a manager you feel when things are right and likewise when things are not so good, Saturday was a 100% “feels right day”.

The boys gave everything, they took Bully and my instructions and followed them perfectly.

I do believe we have got a good side, our problem as I have said before is simple;

We are young, and we lack real depth in the squad. This won’t change, the lads will not suddenly age by 5 yrs and we won’t sign 4 or 5 players to make the squad bigger.

So our performances may will continue to be inconsistent but we will try and improve on this.

It’s a busy period coming up and both Bully and I will continue to get as much out of this squad as possible.
