In front of a crowd of just over 500, Moneys took an early 7th minute lead via a fine free-kick from Brett Poate.
They held that lead until 8 minutes into the second half when skipper Liam Dolman levelled from the penalty spot.
And when recent signing from Corby Town, the appropriately-named Ben Diamond, headed the home side in front with only 8 minutes to go, Moneys unbeaten record looked like ending.
And I looked even more likely 4 minutes later when they had Poate sent-off for bringing down Tom Lorraine for a straight red card.
However, the Hampshire side showed just why they are where they are by battling back and equalising 3 minutes into stoppage time through Steve Hutchings.
Moneyfields’ Lewis Fennemore received a second yellow card after the full-time whistle for foul and abusive language and inciting the crowd.
Cambridge City are second on goal difference after a 4-1 win at St Ives against second-bottom Fleet Town.
It was only 1-0 to the hosts at half-time, courtesy of a 23rd minute Ryan Sharman effort.
And then Luke Haskell woke City up when he equalised on the hour-mark.
Buster Harradine then restored City`s lead in the 72nd minute and Salim Relizani`s penalty 4 minutes later settled the points, with Lewis Wilson adding a fourth in the 87th minute.
Hartley Wintney are level on points with City and pulled their goal difference a whole lot closer after smashing Barton Rovers 7-0 at the Memorial Playing Fields.
It was a great day for Jake Baxter, who helped himself to four of the goals in the 42nd, 45th, 57th and 59th minutes, with Liam Eagle starting the rout in the 24th minute and Jack French (54) and Rowan Vine (89) adding the others.
Ashford Town (Middx), Diamonds and Beaconsfield Town all follow in the table on 23 points.
Ashford were held to a 2-2 home draw by Bedford Town, who came back from 2-0 down through Alex Fisher`s penalty right on half-time and Billy Boyle`s goal 4 minutes after the break, to draw with goals from David Manu on 55 minutes and then James Peters 14 minutes from time.
Beaconsfield were 2-0 Holloways Park winners over third-bottom Hanwell Town.
After a goalless opening period, the hosts scored twice in 3 minutes shortly after the break through Dan Brown and Scott Cousins.
Northwood were 3-0 Chestnut Avenue winners over Kempston Rovers.
Jermaine Osei bagged a quickfire brace for Woods in the 5th and 6th minutes.
Lewis Ochoa eventually added a third with 14 minutes remaining.
The remaining matches all ended in draws.
Callum Webb gave Egham Town an 18th minute lead at the Runnymede Stadium against neighbours Marlow and went further in front through Aaron Berry after 33 minutes.
Goals either side of the break from Chris Ovenden and Jordan Brown rescued a point for the visitors.
Uxbridge took a 12th minute lead at Thame against tenants Aylesbury United, whose Ollie Hogg levelled from the spot 11 minutes into the second half.
Dylan Kearney restored the Reds` lead after 65 minutes but Greg Williams salvaged a point for the Ducks 18 minutes from time.
The other Aylesbury side, FC, shared a 1-1 draw at home to Thame United, whose Lynton Goss looked to have won it with his 62nd minute effort until Jordan Jenkins popped up with a 94th minute leveller for then Moles.
