Ducks Prevent AFC Dunstable From Moving Into Second Spot

By Jack Moore

The only game in the Evo-Stik League South East on Wednesday night saw AFC Dunstable looking to move into second place behind unbeaten Moneyfields.

However, the Ducks, who started the evening fourth-from-bottom, battled hard and earned a point from a 1-1 draw.

Indeed, the hosts took the lead after 31 minutes when Jack Wood headed home an Ollie Hogg corner.

It wasn`t until just shy of the hour-mark that AFC managed to equalise with a fine solo effort from Louis Bircham.
