Eligible for FA Cup

Hereford FC have completed the signing of Billy Murphy following his release from Bath City.

Billy will be known to Bulls supporters having been part of Peter Beadle’s youth side at Edgar Street, he was given his first team debut by Beadle in April 2014.

He subsequently joined Bristol City that summer, captaining their U21 side, before joining Bath City initially on loan in February 2016. He racked up more than 60 appearances in 18 months for the National South side.

The 21 year old trained with the squad on Thursday and Friday, and is eligible for both the FA Cup and FA Trophy for the Bulls having been an unused substitute for Bath City in both competitions. He will travel with the squad to Fleetwood for tomorrow’s match.
