After three Aylesbury derby wins, United had to relinquish their hold as FC scored a late winner to take the game 2-1.
In the 87th minute, it was the visitors' first effort on goal in a half that the Ducks had dominated but wasted chance after chance.
The game had got off to a perfect start as - in true pantomime style - goalkeeper Jenkins gifted the ball straight to Conor Furlong who composed himself before finding the empty net.
United were in complete control and should have added to their lead, before Ty Deacon levelled midway through the half and start a period of FC dominance.
The hosts were then on top from the get-go in the second period, but as the minutes ticked by the possibility of a late away winner looked increasingly likely and so it proved as United found themselves punished for their profligacy and with nothing to show for their efforts.
