Dorch Ready for Crows ?

Tough game ahead

Tough game ahead..

One to Watch
Without a doubt, the key man for the Crows is former Lincoln City forward Adam Marriott. The former Stevenage man sensationally joined Royston in the summer and so far has a staggering 26 goals to his name, in just 34 league and cup appearances.

Form Guide
The visitors come to Dorset in decent form, having won two out of their last three fixtures as well as three out of their last six. Despite a disappointing 4-1 defeat to high flying Kettering Town last time out, the Crows will be happy with their form, having defeated both Kings Langley and Merthyr Town by four goal margins in recent weeks. Adam Marriott contributing massively with an outstanding six goals in these fixtures.

The Magpies go into this fixture having only picked up one win in 9 league fixtures, as well as not having tasted victory since the beginning of February. Another away postponement, this time at Hitchin Town, means that the last piece first team action saw Dorchester go down to an incredibly disappointing 2-1 defeat to struggling Merthyr Town.

Last Time We Met
The Magpies visited Garden Walk at the beginning of December on a bitterly cold Saturday afternoon. Despite Tom Blair giving the visitors a well-deserved lead in the first half, an equaliser right on half time changed the game. Skipper Gary Bowles was shown a straight red and the hosts capitalised on their man advantage, adding two goals for a 3-1 victory.

Team News
Another game, another departure for The Magpies. This time midfielder Sam Lanahan who left the club in the middle of the week. The clubs top scorer this season, Lanahan has joined relegation threatened Gosport Borough, who have invested heavily in an attempt to avoid the drop. Aside from this, Steve Thompson should have a full squad to choose from. On Loan midfielder Archie Collins was scheduled to miss last Saturdays visit to Hitchin due to being required by parent club Exeter City, but he should be available for selection.
