Goalkeeper Josh Tibbetts has extended his loan from SkyBet League One side Peterborough United with Evo-Stik League South Premier club Royston Town for another month.
Tibbetts signed for Posh during last summer after impressing during a trial period at the back end of the 2016/17 campaign.
The former Birmingham City shot-stopper was pencilled in to push for the number one spot alongside Jonathan Bond but since the arrival of Conor O`Malley, his chances have diminished.
This loan deal gives Tibbetts an ideal opportunity to get some much-needed competitive action as he covers for the Crows regular goalkeeper Joe Welch, who is recovering from a groin injury.
Royston are managed by former Posh midfielder Steve Castle, and is delighted with the performance of the youngster and very happy to have extended the loan: “Josh has been superb for us since he’s come in. I`m very to keep him longer to make sure Joe Welch has the right recovery time”.
