Steve Castle has promised that Royston Town will be back to as full a strength as possible when they host Kempston Rovers on the Big Free Bet Challenge Cup tonight.
The Crows are in the middle of a run of four successive cup games, having knocked St Margetsbury out of the Herts Senior Cup last Tuesday before losing Saturday's Herts Charity Cup semi final 4-1 at Hemel Hempstead.
Kempston are tonight's visitors to Garden Walk, followed by Leatherhead on Saturday in the FA Trophy – both competitions manager Castle wants to do well in.
“It was a different mindset last week” he said. “We rested a few players and fully used our squad, as that's what having a squad is all about. But we will now be back to being as strong as the injuries and absences allow.”
One of the players who has been handed a chance in the last two games is defender Harry Darling, who last week joined on a one-month loan from Cambridge United, with a view to staying longer if both parties agree.
