Coyle Makes Thatcham Switch

...

Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South new boys Thatcham Town have announced another addition to their squad with the arrival of Lewis Coyle.

Coyle joins the Kingfishers from Southern League Division One Central side Kidlington.

The midfielder joined Kidlington in 2016 after spells with North Leigh and Old Woodstock Town.

Manager Danny Robinson told http://www.thatchamtownfootball.club: "I am delighted to get this signing done. Coyley has fantastic quality and he will be a great addition to our squad. He has great experience and he will get himself amongst the goals and assists. His skill and talent will make him a massive player for us."

Coyle`s arrival follows hot on the heels of the news that Ekow Elliott and Lamin Sankoh had agreed terms to stay on for the 2018/19 season.

Both players joined Thatcham in the summer of 2017 and became firm favourites throughout the 2017/18 season, with Sankoh exciting as he terrorised full-backs before injuries cut his season short, while Elliott was a key member of an attacking quartet that led the Kingfishers to three cup finals, including the Buildbase FA Vase triumph at Wembley, along with the Hellenic Premier title.
