Cleeve Sign Rivals` Left-Back

Bishop’s Cleeve have signed left-back Tristan Haswell from Evo-Stik League South West rivals Shortwood United.

The 21-year-old joined Shortwood from Tuffley Rovers last summer.

He enjoyed an impressive campaign with the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division outfit in 2016/17, winning the players’, managers` and young player of the year awards.

Haswell played for Abbeymead Rovers as a youngster, also representing the Gloucester Primary Schools A team.

He was with Gloucester City from under-12s to under-18 level before switching to Tuffley.
