Champions Taunton Town showed no signs of easing up as they hammered mid-table Winchester City 5-0 at The Simplyhealth City Ground in the Evo-Stik League South West on Tuesday night.
It enabled the Peacocks to stretch their unbeaten league run to an amazing thirty-one matches and they remain unbeaten away this season in all competitions.
Taunton skipper Matt Wright hit a hat-trick, with Craig Veal bagging the other two.
Second-placed Salisbury FC were held to a 2-2 draw at the WebbsWood by a now fifth-placed Swindon Supermarine but hold a five-point advantage over Wimborne Town, who hammered Shortwood United 5-0 on their own patch.
Luke Hopper gave Salisbury the lead after 8 minutes, but Joe Selman drove home an equaliser for the home side 10 minutes later.
The Whites restored their advantage after 76 minutes when sub Stuart Green scored his 21st goal of the season, but after Hopper had been sent-off for a second yellow card 5 minutes from time, Zak Westlake equalised again for `Marine 2 minutes from time.
Wimborne were ahead after 24 minutes through Jack Lovell and James Stokoe added a second 9 minutes later.
Toby Holmes` penalty 3 minutes into the second half secured victory with Lovell going on to complete his hat-trick for good measure in the 63rd and 83rd minutes.
AFC Totton maintained their play-off hopes with a 1-0 win at Yate Town, thanks to a 73rd minute Callum Chugg effort.

North Leigh edged out Paulton Rovers 5-3 at the Eynsham Hall Park Sports Ground in the evening`s other game.
Declan Shepherd and George Seacole both bagged braces for North Leigh, with Matt Sysum adding the other, and Liam Monelle matched them, with Joe Guest and Jack Ball also on the mark for Rovers.
