Cambridge City Renew Sponsorship

By Jack Moore

Cambridge City Football Club has renewed its first team home shirt sponsorship deal with Yorkshire Building Society Local Agency.

It will be the third year in succession that the company has put their name to the City home shirts.

The Building Society has an established local agency in St Ives, where City currently play their home games, but will also shortly be opening another branch in Cambridge, close to the Lilywhites former home in Milton Road.

Tony Rule, a former City player and founder and director of AIA Cambridge which is a proprietor of the YBS agencies in Flitwick, St Ives and Cambridge said "I have a long association with club and I am delighted to assist with the home shirt sponsorship for another year. The club is very special to me and is privileged to have so many loyal volunteers and supporters that help in many ways and hopefully there will be some positive news on the new stadium soon, which everyone connected at the club deserves”.

Meanwhile City Chairman Kevin Satchell said “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Yorkshire Building Society Local Agency for another season. We have an excellent relationship with them and I am really pleased that they will continue their support of Cambridge City for another season”.
