Home Coming for Lee Allinson
Biggleswade Town FC are extremely excited to announce that Lee Allinson will be the new man in charge at Langford Road next season.
Lee will return home to the Waders to take control of the first team for what will be an exciting time for all involved. As a previous player for BTFC, he knows the Langford Road family well and will be a much welcomed addition. if Biggleswade Town has proved anything this season, it’s that it’s all about pathways and what better way to reinforce that then to recognise a great talent in a previous player.
Maurice Dorrington, Chairman of Biggleswade Town FC approached Lee to take on the position because of his drive, passion and great work ethic. ‘We couldn’t be more delighted to welcoming Lee to our family club, he will be a great addition and he has my full support in taking us forward’
Lee feels like it’s a great time to come home to the club: ‘I’m so honoured and proud to become Biggleswade Town first team manager. The club has always been very close to my heart. I would like to thank Maurice for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club. I would like to thank Chris Nunn for giving me a great platform to start from. we are great friends and I’m sure we will continue to speak often and support each other as we always have done.’
The news comes shortly after the Waders said an emotional goodbye to Chris Nunn on their final game of the season. he has faithfully served the Waders for 12 years and He will always be a much loved manager at the club and a true friend.
We all look forward to welcoming you to Langford Road next season for what we hope will be a truly wonderful time for the great game.
