Tough conditions

Swindon Supermarine’s Brad Hooper was left content after his side picked up a point in a 1-1 draw with fellow promotion chasers Bristol Manor Farm.

Hooper scored from the penalty spot to give the visitors the lead after 20 minutes before Dean Stamp secured the hosts a point 13 minutes into the second half.

And Hooper was pleased with his side’s showing which earned them a point at third-placed Manor Farm.

“I thought it was an alright result in tough conditions,” Hooper told Your Sport’s Nick Taylor.

“I thought we played well with what we had on the pitch, the pitch held up well to be fair.

“I wanted us to win and I thought we could have, but they had some chances towards the end.

“Overall (it was) a good result.”
