Boss Adams Leaves Stratford

Carl Adams has informed Evo-Stik League South Premier club Stratford Town that he is leaving post as first-team manager.

Adams joined Stratford at the start of 2012/13 season initially as joint-manager with Morton Titterton and took sole charge when the latter had to leave due to health reasons.

His playing record included being with Birmingham City, making three first-team appearances before a serious shoulder injury ended his full-time career.

He went on to play for Northampton Town, Kettering Town, Stevenage Borough, Weymouth and Nuneaton Borough as well as San Jose Earthquakes and Sacremento in the USA.

He made a Wembley appearance in 2000 for Kettering in the FA Trophy Final and won the Conference title in 1997 with Stevenage.

He previously led Coleshill Town to the Midland Combination Premier title in 2007/08 and Stratford to the Midland Alliance title in 2012/13.

He completed a second promotion in three seasons via the play-off finals in 2014/15.

The club have thanked him for all of his work over the last six years which included securing two promotions up to the Southern Premier which is the highest in our clubs 75-year history.
