Gosport look to return to winning ways at Bishop’s Stortford this Tuesday

On Saturday 20th January Gosport Borough travelled up to the ProKit UK Stadium for the Evo-Stik South Premier Division game, only for the game to be postponed half an hour before the match was due to take place due to a waterlogged pitch deemed the game unplayable.

Tomorrow night the two sides will look to do it again as Gosport make the trip 270-mile round trip to Hertfordshire.

Yet to win in 2018, Boro’ will be looking for their first three points of the year tomorrow night, after Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Stratford Town.

The hosts come into the game on the back of two defeats. The first was their heaviest defeat of the season at Kettering, losing 6-0.

After the heavy loss at Kettering, Kevin Watson’s men returned to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Frome Town.

The sides last met on Non League Day at Privett Park back in October, in a game which saw Stortford come away with three points in a 3-1 victory for The Blues. Iffy Onwuachu got Boro’s goal on that occasion.
