Beadle Pleased With Cup Draw

By Jack Moore

Bulls boss Pete Beadle is pleased with the draw for the FA Cup first round.

Speaking to the official Hereford FC website, Beadle said "it's a game that we will feel we can go into and win."

"Going into the draw all the talk is about getting a big team, but obviously there are only a few of those, with a lot of non-league clubs hoping to get them!"

"We're pleased we're at home, I am sure it will be a bumper crowd, although, had we been away, I am sure our fans would have travelled in number as well!"

"Telford are used to a higher level, they're used to having to perform week in week out, and they will come here as favourites."

"However, although we're underdogs, I am always confident that if our players turn up and perform, then we can give any team a game
We played Telford in pre-season, but we had a number of players out, as did they, so I don't think either team can read too much into the pre-season match."

"Telford have some good players, and some good coaches, we'll need to be at our best to win, but I wouldn't rate us as massive underdogs"
