Beadle Bolsters Defence

By Jack Moore

Former Hereford United loanee Dan Preston has signed for Evo-Stik League South Premier club Hereford FC.

Now 25, the defender had two loan spells at Edgar Street in 2010 and 2011 from Birmingham City before spending time with AFC Telford United and Tamworth, where he spent a year playing alongside Hereford favourite Rob Purdie.

He re-joined the Bucks in May 2016 and spent part of last season on loan with Leamington and Hednesford Town.

Bulls boss Peter Beadle has strengthened his defensive options further with the addition of teenager Dara O’Shea on loan until January from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

The 18-year-old featured for the Baggies in the Premier League Asia Trophy during the summer, and also played for their under-23 side in the Football League Trophy last season.
