The only game in the Evo-Stik League South East on Thursday saw Beaconsfield Town move convincingly to the top of the table – a point in front of AFC Rushden & Diamonds – after a 5-1 win at the Reynolds Field against fourth-bottom Hanwell Town.
If the Rams needed a wake-up call they got it when Charlie Mitchell gave the home side a shock 9th minute lead.
That lasted barely 4 minutes as Nathan Webb levelled and they went on to lead 4-1 at the interval, thanks to goals from Lee Barney in the 29th and 35th minutes and Bajram Pashaj a minute before the break.
Kezie Ibe made it a nap hand for the visitors with the only second half goal after 63 minutes.
