Barnstaple Town New Home Kit

By Jack Moore

The new kit, supplied by MJM Sports, sees a new name on the front, Everything Ellie, which is a great local charity with close connections to the club.

Saturday 30th September, against Winchester City, was the chosen game for Barnstaple Town to launch their new home kit.

The Charity was originally set up in memory Ellie, who passed away in March 2015 to secondary Leukaemia Relapse aged 16, following a 2 year battle with Teenage Cancer. Ellie remained very graceful & grown-up, her goal was to have a landmark in her name and ‘The Beach Hut’ seemed the obvious choice. It was Ellie’s wish that this beach hut be enjoyed by people in similar situations, Ellie wanted people to enjoy and create lasting memories that will last a lifetime, bringing a bit of sunshine to an otherwise gloomy time.

Commercial manager for Barnstaple Town, Daniel Rice commented.

"I'm delighted that as a club we are able to help raise awareness of this brilliant local charity, especially with the connections it has to the club, with family members of the charity's founders as current, and former players, as well as being involved off the field, I hope going forward we can do even more to raise the profile of Everything Ellie, and help them on the road to reaching their goals"
