Moles Looking For A New Manager

Evo-Stik Southern League East club Aylesbury FC have announced that Kevin Poole has stepped down as manager.

Evo-Stik Southern League East club Aylesbury FC have announced that Kevin Poole has stepped down as manager.

Poole came to the Moles on a caretaker role at a very challenging time for the club to stabilise the playing side.

Based in the Thame area, Poole had been managing within local football for seventeen years, starting in Sunday league with the successful Royal Oak side, he went on to manage Launton in the Uhlsport Hellenic saving them from certain relegation, Oakley United, the Oxford/Slough and county champions for several years before taking over at Thame Rangers last season winning the Spartan South Midlands Division Two title and the Wycombe & Slough Senior Cups.

An FA level 2 coach, Poole has worked previously for Oxford and Reading community coaching but now works in the building design & renovation trade.

Poole just could not commit at this level long-term and wanted to spend more time with his young family.

It is also with regret that Dave Morris and Ryan Wiffin have also stepped down from their positions as assistant-manager and coach at the club.
