Boro manager Spencer Day is pictured collecting the club's inscribed glass trophy and chairman Simon Gardener their 4.5L bottle of Bell’s Whisky before kick-of as November's EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central Team of the Month Award winners.
Day's second-placed side, named before Christmas alongside King’s Lynn Town in the top flight and Hereford FC in EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West as the winners of the penultimate performance awards of 2016, won four out of five league outings in November.
Along the way, they scored an impressive 11 goals, only conceding on four occasions to bank 12 points and keep up their pursuit of leaders Royston Town.
The monthly honours are being sponsored once again this season by the Southern League's title sponsors EVO-STIK to recognise and reward the top performers among the 68 clubs playing in the Premier, Division One Central and Division One South & West divisions.
Winners are presented with cut glass trophies to record their achievements and 4.5L bottles of Bell's Whisky to celebrate their success with throughout the campaign by representatives of the Southern League and sponsors EVO-STIK.
