Auger Makes City Return

Ryan Auger has completed a move to Cambridge City from Evo-Stik League South East rivals Bedford Town.

Auger is a 23-year-old midfielder who was at Southend United from the age of 12 years old.

He signed a two-year scholarship with the Shrimpers before graduating to a one-year professional deal in June 2013.

Whilst at Southend, Auger had two loan spells with Soham Town Rangers as well as a lengthy one with St Neots Town where he made sixteen appearances, scoring 2 goals.

He made a single first-team appearance for Southend in 2013/14 before being released and moving to Bishop`s Stortford and Histon, before returning to Bishop`s Stortford last season after a brief, three-game spell with Cambridge City at the end of the 2015/16 season.

After moving to Bedford last year, Auger played forty-six times for the Eagles, finding the net 7 times.
