AFC Dunstable Held At Home

By Jack Moore

AFC Dunstable and Beaconsfield Town, who were occupying third and fourth place respectively in the Evo-Stik League South, East table, met on Friday night and produced a cracking game at Creasey Park.

Jermaine Hall gave the home side an 11th minute and Nathan Frater came close to doubling their lead 4 minutes later, only for Beaconsfield `keeper Jamie Norris to produce a good save.

Dunstable continued to press and BJ Christie and Hall again both missed decent chances to increase their side`s lead.

And they were made to pay for those missed opportunities when Lewis Putman pulled the visitors back on level terms on the half-hour mark.

Ten minutes into the second half, Beaconsfield took the lead courtesy of a Putman penalty.

But the lead lasted barely 6 minutes as Frater equalised following a neat move.

Ten minutes from time, the home side had a great chance to win the game when they were awarded a penalty, but Hall missed it and the game ended 2-2.
