ABDULAI Baggie believes Weymouth’s 2-1 win against Royston Town showed the Terras can handle the pressure as they gear up to face them for the second time in less than three weeks in their Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division tussle at the Bob Lucas Stadium (3pm).
Two goals from Brandon Goodship saw the Terras come from behind after an 18th minute header by John Frendo to win 2-1 away on January 30.
Baggie said: “I thought that from being 1-0 down we showed massive character within the team because we have a young squad, we are still learning. I am learning as well.
“It is always good to see that side of the team because people have been saying that we are a young team, not mature enough to handle pressure. But I think we have dealt with that so far and it is just trying to keep positive from now until the end of the season.”
Baggie explains the side are taking it game by game, pointing out that there are still points to be won and points to be lost and notes tomorrow’s match as the start of a tough run-in, with the side then facing Hereford away and Slough at home.
